Thus, for MM spells, you need to modify the line a bit for situations where you take the lone wolf talent (which should be almost always right now but that may not be the case in the future). ![]() ![]() One complication: if you're MM with lone wolf you don't want to attempt a macro to call a pet if you don't have one, because the macro will error when it tries to call a pet when you can't call one (because of lone wolf). This will summon a pet if you don't have one, and will KC if you have a pet out: #showtooltip kill command ![]() Advanced hunters will have 2 different KC buttons, one that hits your current target and one that hits your pets target. Sidenote: you also really want to have /petattack in KC macros because by default KC will hit your pets current target, which might not be what you want to hit if you switched targets. In the World of Warcraft, a macro is grouping of several slash commands that execute together when you click a button. Riding uphill, thus making each jump miniscule, while hammering your jump key will produce an absurd trail of fireworks behind you. The fireworks happen with every jump while you are mounted and the toy is active (15 sec). I recommend macroing "call pet" into things like kill command also to simplify pet management. Mounting, dismounting and changing mounts will not disable the toy once activated. 1 is the first pet in the dropdown in your spell book, 5 is the right pet. Hunters have 5 different pets they can call, and you can change the number after "call pet" to anything 1-5 and it will change which pet you call. ![]() Some of the spells mentioned are out of date (this was written before Survival was melee) but the macro principles are still intact:Īnyways, the hunter equivalent of your pet summon/dismiss macro looks like this: #showtooltip If you're interested in getting deep into the nitty gritty of hunter micromanagement with macros, I wrote a guide awhile back that goes into this.
